Summer Public Schedule:
Arrive, Explore & Play
We have made it even easier for individuals and families to come and embrace adventure in both our Mallow and our Coachford Sites
So what is it?
For July and August we are now offering activities to the public across land, water and height every single day. Add onto an existing Aquapark or come along any day and just jump in. We have scheduled adventure activities on the hour, each hour between 12pm to 5pm [Mon-Fri] & 11am to 4pm [Sat-Sun]. These activities do not require a booking and are available to all.
How much does it cost?
If you have an existing Aquapark booking add €10pp. To do a stand alone public activity, it is €15pp and again any additional public activities would be €10pp.
- Mallow: The Aurora Cove and swim area is available for €5pp. Kayak & SUP rental is available in this area for €10 for the hour
- Coachford: SUP rental around the harber area is available for €10 for the hour. A 3hr Scenic Kayak Tour €50pp (taking in one of the most diverse biomes in Ireland and taking in what is a rare river island castle at Carrignadrohid *Special offers available for August*)
Is there any discounts?
We have a day ticket for €25pp that includes x2 public activity sessions as well as access to our Aurora Cove and swim area [Aquapark incurs additional charge of €5pp for Adults]
A family ticket is also available for 2 adults & 2 children which includes the Aquapark and 1 public session costs €99 [saving €10].
Special offer for the Kayak tours for August 2019
Do I need to book in advance?
No. Our summer public sessions do not need to be booked in advance as you can sign up at reception upon arrival. However as always if you want to do the AquaPark as part of your day we strongly recommend booking in advance for that as the Aquapark regularly sells out.
Can I just do one activity?
Yes, you can do as many activities as you wish. Activities are scheduled every hour and what you choose to do is totally your choice.
Can I do every activity onsite?
No, or at least not all in one day. Our public sessions will over a good variety of what we do at our sites but do not include every activity as there would not be enough time in a day. Spread out the fun and come back again or private groups can choose their own activities.
Can I stay all day?
Yes, we believe in getting people outdoors and the longer you wish to stay the better. Our Aurora Cove and swim area is €5pp which gets you access all day *Mallow*. You are also more than welcome to stay and hang out in the sun with friends and grab a coffee from our coffee dock and absorb the fun good fibes of the outdoors.
Can I get or bring food?
Yes, we have a coffee dock on both sites, but if you want to bring a picnic or order in food you are more than welcome. We obviously ask that you use designated areas, clean up after yoursleves and use the bins provided/recycle where possible
Is there birthday packages?
Yes, for U16 parties we offer an Aquapark session as well as one of our public sessions for €25pp including selected ice-creams on the day. A party area can also be reserved.
*Note that all activities in this package take place on public sessions and may have other individual taking part. Private bespoke group packages can be organised through the office.
What exactly can I do Each Day?

Can I find out the schedule before I arrive?

What do I need to bring with me?
We will supply all safety and water equipment. If you are planning on being on the water bring swimwear and towels, flip flops/crocs are always handy for the water sessions also.
For land or height activities we do require you come with closed toe shoes or runners. Bring activewear and rain coat if raining and sun cream if sunny. Possible both.
What time do I need to arrive?
If you are booked into the Aquapark you will be given a set time you need to arrive. Other than that the choice is yours; activities start at 12pm Mon-Fri & 11am Sat-Sun. Our advice is always to come early and enjoy your day Lakeside whatever site you choose.
What ages are the activities appropriate for?
Aquapark: We can take as young as 6yrs on the Aquapark [*6-10yrs need an adult to accompany them on the water also]
Adventure Activities: All activities are pitched at an introductory level for all ages young and old, however 8yrs is the youngest we can take on these activities for enjoyment reasons as well as correct sizing of our safety equipment.
