One of the key advantages of our camp is the opportunity for children with autism to immerse themselves in the outdoors. Outdoor environments provide a sensory-rich experience that can be incredibly beneficial. The sights, sounds, textures, and smells of nature offer a gentle and stimulating way for campers to explore their senses, fostering sensory integration and self-regulation skills.

Research has shown that exercise and physical activities can have a positive impact on individuals with autism, enhancing their motor skills, coordination, and overall physical fitness. Beyond the physical benefits, our camp provides a supportive social environment where campers can forge meaningful connections. Shared experiences in the great outdoors often lead to the development of social skills, communication abilities, and teamwork.

This will be running on the 20th, 21st and 22nd of August.

Not only are these classes fun, but they provide basic water safety skills for young children and valuable safety information for parents.
