As a Senior Front of House Bookings Team Member at Ballyhass Adventure Group, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the experiences of our guests and driving the success of our operations. Manage and optimize the booking system to ensure efficient scheduling of events and activities.
Coordinate details with upcoming groups, ensuring that all aspects of their events are meticulously planned and executed.
Provide exceptional front-of-house service, welcoming and checking in daily groups and customers.
Act as the face of Ballyhass Adventure Group, ensuring each customer's experience is memorable and aligns with our high standards.
Identify opportunities to upsell additional products and services, enhancing the customer experience and increasing revenue.
Train and motivate the front-of-house team in effective upselling techniques.
Develop, refine, and manage customer relationship management (CRM) processes, focusing on long-term customer engagement and loyalty.
Analyze customer data to identify trends and opportunities for business growth, particularly during the off-season.
Work closely with operations, marketing, and sales teams to identify and fill gaps in availability, optimizing resource utilization and customer satisfaction.
Participate in strategic planning sessions to align front-of-house operations with overall business objectives.
Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and target markets for business expansion.
Develop strategies to tap into these markets, aligning with the company's mission and values.
Foster a collaborative and supportive environment among the front-of-house team.
Ensure clear and direct communication between managers, supervisors, and team members, maintaining a harmonious and efficient work environment.
Regularly report to senior management on booking trends, customer feedback, and operational challenges.
Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement and growth.
Actively participate in Ballyhass Adventure Group’s sustainability initiatives.
Engage with the local community to promote outdoor activities and the company’s values.
A minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role.
Proven track record in managing booking systems or scheduling for events, activities, or similar operations.
Experience in sales or upselling products and services, demonstrating the ability to enhance customer experiences and drive revenue.
Familiarity with developing and managing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) processes is highly desirable.
Prior experience in overseeing operational tasks, coordinating events, or managing a team in a dynamic environment.
Ability to lead by example and foster a collaborative and positive work culture.
Competence in analyzing data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities in business operations.
Experience in contributing to strategic planning and business development initiatives.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of customers and team members.
Strong interpersonal skills, with a knack for building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
A demonstrated ability to adapt to changing environments and to come up with creative solutions to operational challenges.
Willingness to embrace new technologies or methods to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
A personal interest in outdoor activities and a commitment to sustainability, aligning with Ballyhass Adventure Group’s mission and values.
An enthusiasm for engaging with the community and promoting outdoor experiences.
While not mandatory, a degree or qualification in hospitality, tourism, business, or a related field can be beneficial.
