Exciting news on the horizon! We're thrilled to announce our newest summer camp program specifically designed for children with autism, aged between 8 to 16. Our 3-day adventure camp ensures that your child will have an experience to cherish forever.
This unique camp, operating from Wednesday to Friday between 09:30 am to 12:00 pm, offers dedicated one-to-one care to each child, ensuring they receive the support, attention, and guidance they need in a comfortable and secure environment. Our camp prides itself on our instructor-to-camper ratio, allowing us to cater to each camper’s unique needs and pace.
The centerpiece of our camp is a guaranteed water activity each day, fostering a love for water, a sense of safety, and most importantly, a world of fun. And no worries if your child is not an accomplished swimmer; our emphasis is on gaining confidence in the water and being happy floating in a life jacket.
Running on the 23rd, 24th, and 25th of August, our camp allows children with autism to explore their senses in the gentle and stimulating embrace of nature. The sensory-rich experience of the great outdoors has been shown to foster sensory integration and self-regulation skills, especially beneficial for children with autism.
Our "challenge by choice" principle ensures that while we encourage campers to step out of their comfort zones, we never force them into any activity. Remember, our camp is more than just fun; it's about building life skills, confidence, and friendships that last.
