Outdoor Public Swimming Pool
The most simple of all our offerings but arguably the most popular. Our lifeguarded swim area is open 7 days a week June / July & August and is the perfect place to lounge away the hours in the summer sun. A perfect all weather facility as you can come and rent a wetsuit and enjoy the waters that really do get warm during the summer.
Lifejackets must be warn in the swimming pool area. The swim lanes can be use with just a towable support bouy. Available to buy in the pro shop.
Open Water swim Vs Public Swim
Our open water swim sets times utilizes the area out side of the dock swimming pool. This is a large 500m loop. You must swim during the set times and make sure you are swimming with a buddy. We will have a member of staff on duty logging numbers but like all open water swimming safety in numbers is key. To utilize the open water swim loop you must demonstrate your swimming competency or be a member of a swim or triathalon club.
