Are you obsessed with axe throwing and want to get even better at it! Improve your throws week-on-week with our axpert coaches and regulars! Play games, challenge eachother and make new friends are our class league nights. Improve your axe throwing skills and submit your scores to our Ballyhass League to see where you come on the leaderboard!

6 week league
Starting Sunday 6th November at 6pm join our 6 week axe throwing league. The league is made up of 4 matches, and practise matches each night. In the final week we celebrate with a knockout combo, if you are beaten in two matches you're out! We submit your combined 6 weeks of throwing scores to the Ballyhass League to give you a chance to win our very own championships!

WATL
Ballyhass are proud members of the World Axe Throwing League and take part in this league system 4 times a year! We invite you to practise and compete with us for a chance to win entry to the World Axe Throwing Championships which are generally held in the US. The next WATL starts in January The axe throwing community at Ballyhass are serious craic and this night is not to be missed!

Closed toed shoes are required
Warm clothes - we light the stove but it can get a little chilly in our Axe Shed!
League Nights start Sundays at 6pm
I missed a week, can I still compete?
Of course! You can catch up on the throws you have missed another week!
Do I need to Pre-Book
Yes, pre booking online is required for the league, get Tuesday or Fridays Axe Throwing Open Nights free when you book!
What time should I arrive?
Please arrive early on your first week to check in with reception on your first week, after that arriving on time is perfect!
Can I bring people just to watch?
Yes the more the merrier! We have a cafe onsite where they can grab a tea, coffee or hot chocolate and they are welcome to sit beside our wood burning stove and watch the league. Though we recommend bringing them on Friday as they can try it out for themselves!
