One hour of impact, competition and proper Friday-night energy. Easy for first timers, addictive once you get going and one of the coolest smaller sessions Ballyhass has.
Hosted sessions in the axe throwing shed with coaching, game play and enough competitive edge to turn a casual booking into a very loud leaderboard.
This is one of those sessions people book half-curious and leave raving about. The throw is satisfying, the atmosphere is strong, and once the competition kicks in the whole thing gets very fun very quickly.
It works because it is simple. Show up, learn the throw, get stuck in and start chasing the shot everyone else now has to beat.
More edge than a standard activity. More personality than a standard night out. More replay value than people expect.
You do not need experience or special gear. The session starts with coaching and quickly gets everyone comfortable enough to enjoy it properly.
There is always another throw, another score to chase and another reason to cheer or slag someone for missing by miles.
The game modes and interactive targets give it more structure and more replay value than a simple one-off try session.
This feels sharper, cooler and more memorable than just meeting up somewhere and hoping the night sorts itself out.
The best part of this product is how quickly it shifts from “we will give this a go” into full competitive mode.
Arrive around 10 minutes early, get checked in and head for the shed ready to start on time.
Your host talks everyone through safety, technique and how to get the throw feeling right from the start.
Once the axe lands properly, everyone is in. That first clean hit changes the whole mood.
Targets, scoring and challenge rounds bring out the bragging rights very quickly.
Most groups leave already talking about who they want to bring back for a rematch.
Hosted, high-energy Friday night sessions with coaching, game play and enough structure to make it feel like a proper experience rather than a quick novelty.

Closed-toe shoes are essential. Wear comfortable clothes so you can move freely and throw properly.
Each lane has 2 targets and can take up to 12 players, with an instructor on the lane throughout the session.
This is a great private-booking option for birthdays, mate nights, work socials and small groups that want something with real energy and a bit of edge.
If the listed Friday open-night times do not suit, Ballyhass can help arrange a private session that fits your group better.
Easy to organise, easy to enjoy and competitive enough to give the group something to talk about long after the session ends.
Proper Ballyhass energy, a bit of grit, plenty of competition and a session that deserves a lot more attention than it gets.
