Stand-Up Paddle boarding is a sport growing in popularity across Europe and has started to make its way into Ireland. Here, at Ballyhass, we want to encourage this growth and to provide an activity suitable for all ages and all levels of ability. If you want to get into the water but aren’t particularly enthused about the physicality and fast pace of traditional water sports, Stand-Up Paddle boarding is the perfect activity for you! A tranquil trip around the lake is the perfect wind-down after a long day or, for those yoga enthusiasts among you, trying a few poses on the board will really test your balance!
If you’re interested in giving it a go, we offer SUP open evenings every Wednesday from 6-8pm where beginner lessons will be provided. You can also book in to SUPing as one of our public activities to hone your skills or to our ‘Rise and SUP’ mornings every Saturday from 8:30-10am to kickstart your weekend and relax both body and mind!
