Autumn wakeboarding Jam Series launched
An exciting time to get on the water meet new friends and land some new tricks
Autumn is an amazing time of year for wakeboarding. The water is warm, there is still plenty of daylight and everyone tends to be at their peak wake fitness!! Its the best time to advance your riding and to start getting regular wakeboarding sets into your lifestyle. In 2019 we are taking a break from the competition scene. (don't worry we have big plans for a series of comps starting early next year!) But we still wanted to finish the summer season with a bang. So today we are launching our Autumn Jam series culminating in a 3 day open ticket weekend at the end of September. The jam mornings scheduled prior to this will be focused on the upcoming System 2.0 comp in Wakedock. We would love to put in a good showing with Team Ballyhass so if anyone is interested in competing, come down to these jams and we will get you set up with a good comp run and take you through the Wakedock setup.
They will be our first proper morning jams so to entice you out of bed nice and early Eoghan will be rustling up some BBQ breakfast rolls down on the dock! You have no Excuse.
Our open ticket weekend will have a real emphasis on progression and trying new things no matter how big or small our goal will be to have riders leaving at the end of the weekend with a bag of new tricks. We will have a series of enticements and bribes to get you pushing yourselves!! More details to follow.
We have separate youth jams prior to the last weekend for anyone U16. But all riders are invited to attend for the 3-day weekend event.
The Dates to put in your Diary:
September 7th 8am - 1pm: Adult Jam 1
September 8th 10am - 1.30pm Junior Jam 1
September 14th 8am - 1pm: Adult Jam 2
September 15th 10am - 1.30pm Junior Jam 2
September 21st WAKEDOCK comp Grand Canal Dublin
September 27th - 29th Three day weekend Jam
For those new to the jam night format, rather than the usual 15min sets, everyone comes down to the dock together and rotates around in 5 minute sets. Great way to meet new people, and concentrate on learning new trciks in a short amount of time.
These are designed for anyone above obstacle standard.
