A full-day outdoor wellness experience that blends guided breathwork, yoga flow, sauna and swim, stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, nourishing food and good company. Designed for people who want something more immersive than a standard session, this is Ballyhass wellness at its most hosted, social and feel-good.

Grounded Yoga

Lauren O’Mahony

Yoga Teacher, Reformer Pilates Instructor & Health Researcher

Lauren brings a deep passion for mindful movement and holistic wellbeing, from teaching gentle yoga flows in North Cork to leading Reformer Pilates sessions that build strength from the inside out.

As a certified yoga teacher and founder of Grounded Yoga, she has guided wellness events, co-hosted breathwork retreats, and continues to empower her community through grounding, body-aware practices that reconnect movement with meaning.

What she brings to the day: grounded movement, thoughtful guidance and a calm, body-aware approach that helps people slow down and reconnect.
Compassionate Co

Chloe Enright MPH

Public Health Practitioner & Breathwork Facilitator

Chloe is a breathwork facilitator and public health practitioner whose professional background is rooted in helping people and communities stay well.

She brings that same thinking into her work with Compassionate Co, facilitating wellness events and breathwork sessions for individuals and groups of different sizes. Chloe’s aim is to deliver the three E’s throughout her work: Educate, Experience & Empower.

What she brings to the day: practical breathwork, wellbeing education and an approach that helps people feel more confident supporting their own health.

I have never tried yoga/breathwork before. Is this event suitable for me?

Yes! Our instructors will guide you through a gentle and beginner friendly yoga & breathwork session, allowing you to reconnect to body and mind in a supported environment. Please refer to our safety section below for a full list of contraindications.

I don't like swimming or water activities, will you have an alternative activity?

Our saunas are still enjoyable without a swim in the lake! Our friendly staff will be there to show you options for refreshing without a swim. If you don't wish to partake in the Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP), our site is beautifully set to explore or just relax with a refreshment at our lakeside hangout.

Can I come on my own to this event?

100%! Attending an event like this is a great way to meet likeminded individuals and enjoy wellbeing activities. You will be participating in all activities in groups so there will be plenty of time to get to know everyone.

What is your refund policy?

We have a 7 day refund policy. This allows us time to fill spaces and to gather any dietaries requirements for the day so everyone is catered for.

How do I communicate any dietary requirements or medical conditions?

There will be a waiver sent out after booking confirmation where you will be able to note any dietary requirements and medical conditions there. This waiver is required to partake on the day.

Is this event for me?

If you are under 16, pregnant, or have uncontrolled heart conditions or blood pressure issues, unfortunately this event is not for you due to the nature of the activities.

For the breathwork specifically, If you have any of the following, please advise prior to the event: heart conditions, epilepsy, uncontrolled hypertension, recent psychiatric diagnoses, osteoporosis, glaucoma/retinal issues, pregnancy, you are asthmatic + cannot exercise without an inhaler. You confirm you will inform the practitioner if you have any other health related issues.
