Paddle Boarding Overview

Come join us at Ballyhass coachford and experience one of the worlds fastest growing watersports as you explore the beauty of the Lee Valley. You will receive expert coaching from our experienced staff who will get you standing up and exploring the river in no time. Watch the Herons fishing, Buzzards soaring above you and listen to the birds as you make your way along the river on this 2-3 hour SUP expedition. Whether you are a beginner or experienced paddler you are sure to have an experience you won’t forget!

Expedition

You will be welcomed to ballyhass by our team before getting kitted up and brought onto the water by our experienced instructors. You will then be guided through the process on how to stand up before beginning the expedition. The expedition will take approximately 2-3 hours and will take you through the beautiful Lee Valley up towards Carrigadrohid castle. Along the way you will learn about the local history, get close to the amazing wildlife and learn about stand up paddle boarding and its history. You will have opportunities along the way to stop and listen to the birds along the river and watch the Herons and Kingfishers fishing on the river bank. Our instructors will be more than happy to teach you some more advanced techniques if you want to learn more and progress your SUPing skills!
