This Movember, Ballyhass is inviting men to step outside for an evening of cold plunges, conversation and connection - all in support of men's mental health and suicide prevention.
Life can hit hard. And too often, men are told to "be strong", "man up" or just "get on with it".
But real strength isn't carrying it all on your own. It's not the "I'm grand" or "you know yourself".
Real strength is courage. To show up for yourself, to face what's hard and to lean on the people around you.
What the Plunge Stands For
- The cold water - the moments that hit you out of nowhere, knock the wind out your sails, and make you want to back out
- Taking the plunge - choosing to take the first step and face it anyway
- Doing it together - the game changer. The cold still bites, but shared laughs, nods and quiet support make it feel lighter
The water doesn't get warmer, but together, it feels easier.
That's what connection does.
That's what showing up for each other means.
What to Expect
Expect an evening of chill vibes, cold plunges, firepits, drinks, good company and a space to have real conversations with the lads.
A chance to ask how they're really doing.
No pressure. No expectations.
Our saunas will run in short rotating sessions throughout the evening, so everyone has a chance to warm up after their plunge and keep the conversation going.
For those who want to grab a bite, the cafe will be open for pizzas with easy QR code ordering, and we'll deliver them to you.

Step Outside. Step Into the Cold. Step Into Conversation.
Because no man has to go it alone.
